For the hip-hop fanatics out there, you’d surely be glad to learn that Applebum has collaborated with Wu-Tang clan to come up with this very hip Shaolin New Era cap design. Wu-Tang Clan, for those who do not know, is a New York-based hip-hop group that rose to fame with their hardcore hip-hop music.

Shaolin, not the monastery or Kung Fu known in China, is actually the slang term for the Staten Island, which is a borough in the southwest part of New York City. Apple Bum Releases Vast Spring and Summer 2009 Caps

Applebum has finally dropped their spring and summer 2009 collection of caps. This includes a large amount of new fitted caps and some are also collaboration with New Era.

There’s the Big Logo New Era cap which comes in four color ways: Red, Yellow, Navy and Royal. It features an Old English lettering of the AB logo embroidery on the front panels while the under brim also features a logo embroidery in what seems to be of strikethrough finish.

Then there’s the Honeniku New Era cap, which comes in mint green upper, featuring a dog bone on the front panels, and a red underbrim with crossed tiny embroideries of food utensils. There’s also…

Applebum has just released their NY Yankees New Era 59fifty Fitted Cap, a year after they released the “Babylon View” that sold out in less than 2 hours.

This new cap features almost the same Babylon View upper with the Yankees Cooperstown logo thickly embroidered on the front panels. This cap looks great and really modern in its overall design and would perhaps complete a classy yet cool appeal.
