WIP Caps Koi Fitted Baseball Cap

Taking inspiration from Japanese and Chinese cultures, Philippine brand WIP Caps announced the release of the Koi Fitted Baseball Cap. The term Koi is the Japanese word for carp, a fish that is popular to both countries.

It is believed to represent “courage, perseverance, and the ability to attain high goals.” Nakayama, graff artist, and WIP’s chief designer also got this inspiration from a piece of tattoo art.

This cap then features waves and flowing water in gradient embroidery, while the Koi is done in an intricate raised embroidery design of each of its individual scales. At the back is a calligraphy Kanji which shows a Japanese character of the word Koi, while the under brim and inner piping of this cap comes in satin lining, which matches the shade of the waves.

Available in Khaki and Dusty Gray colors, these are sure to be a hit once they come out in the next few months.
