WIP Pac-Q Fitted Baseball Cap

For the boxing fans out there, you probably have already heard of Manny Pacquiao. This WIP Pac-Q Fitted Basecall Cap is obviously a tribute for the Boxing Champion, who is also known as PacMan.  WIP was founded in 2007 by a group of high school friends in the Philippines, so it is very clear that this cap also has a nationalistic feel to it.

This cap features the pac-man game character on the front in yellow, and it shows red gloved hands, portraying Manny Pacquiao on the ring. It also shows three stars and a sun at the back, which has to do with the Philippine flag. The color way is also inspired by the flag, coming in white front panel, red side and back panels, and blue button and brim. There’s also a raised UK/USA-ghost logo on the front, done in blue, white and red “to represent the Union Jack as Hatton hails from England.” Ricky Hatton lost in two rounds against Manny Pacquaio in their fight just a few weeks back.

This cap sells for Php1,300 or about $27, and has limited stocks in USA and 50 pieces are available in the Philippines.
